Battle with horizontal stripes

So I wanted to do these pieced t-shirt pants.

Then I was given this shirt and it seemed like it was meant to be.

The hard part was already done, exposed edges and all, just cut it up and make pants right?

Ha. That's what I get for "cheating". I suppose closing your eyes and placing the pattern on the shirt and then willing the stripes to match up isn't the best approach. They lined up on one leg and not on the other. 



 
I'm not super happy with them, but they're another comfy pair of kid pants for boy month. With everything I've made for Loo this month I've made lots of mistakes learned new skills. I never claimed to be good at any of this, I just enjoy it.


And yes, the yellow shirt is my second attempt at the 90 minute shirt, I'll show you a better picture if I ever get it ironed, thanks for noticing.
