Speaking of boys, Loo is 28 months young today. What a kid, I think he grew up in the past couple months. He's potty trained...I'm not sure how it all happened, we let him use his potty and then bought him training pants and that was it, he was hooked and we're happy. No tears, no rewards, no daytime diapers. He's starting to talk about standing up to pee but I'm sure I'm not ready for that yet.
What else is new for this two year old?
- He still loves his trains, shocked grandma the other day when he asked to watch 'Dirty Percy'*.
- Loves dancing to the Mini Pops.
- Frequently needs a mommy or daddy snuggle.
- He's been driving me nuts by rolling his eyes back in his head like the freakin' exorcist when I ask him not to do something.
- Someone taught him to cover his mouth and yell "oh my God" and we're trying desperately not to react when he does it. (that will make him stop right??)
- He loves to curl up on the couch with blankets and pretends he's a baby bird in a nest
- Still sleeps in his crib and we agree as long as he likes it and fits inside we're letting him keep it up. There's something comforting about knowing he's not drawing on the walls and destroying his room when I put him down at naptime.
Loo, I love ya and can't wait to make you a bunch of boy stuff this month!
(Sorry but I'll probably drive you crazy and make you model everything while I take pictures....)
