Train Love Shirt

I know I already made Loo a Valentine's Day shirt, but when I saw this shirt over at Helping Little Hands I just couldn't resist. I decided to use trains instead of cars since Loo is borderline obsessed awfully fond of them. Mr. Crafty Ave lived up to his name and after my growing frustration Googling train silhouettes drew these for me.

I love how I was able to save this hand-me-down t-shirt with a little fabric paint (even concealing a stain) and turn it into something he's excited to wear.

I'm sorry are you getting tired of looking at refashioned kid's clothes? I have one other shirt I made Loo which might get posted this week--then boys clothes are on a short hiatus... until Feb 15th that is... when Celebrate the Boy begins. Last year I lurked silently but this year I am determined to make at least one item...

  1. Wow! This turned out great!! Thanks so much for sharing it. Another emailed me with a fire engine version she did. I think I'll do another "Readers' Feature" post next week. I'd love to show yours off if I can post your picture...with a link back here of course.
