For J & N

A few weeks ago my best friend dropped in from out of town for a few minutes and I had this shirt and pants waiting for her little men.

The shirt is made from Rae's skinny tee pattern. It started off as a joke when I found a men's Kashi shirt at the thrift store. Their family loves Kashi products so I thought it would be cute. Since then Loo's really taken a shine to Kashi products too, so yes their marketing of what was probaby a free shirt to someone awhile ago worked. It's refreshing for a three year old to ask for a cereal that's relatively healthy, has no cartoon characters on it and so freakin' sweet to hear him ask for a bowl of "Honey Sunshine" in the morning. Mr. Crafty Ave laughed at me for paying money for this tee when it probably got sent free to someone for sending in a couple box labels.

The back of the shirt isn't as wonky as it looks here. I need some extra lessons in taping shirts to the wall.

I also made a pair of comfy pants. They're made of knit material and they're reversible, yet another pair of Toddler pants from the free pattern on MADE.

I've got my spring number three completed and waiting for a good picture and my number four is almost done too. I feel like I'm on a real roll right now I might just keep going.

Happy Tuesday.

  1. Super cute! I am planning to pick up that Flashback Tee pattern and make a few up for my lil' guy during KCWC, coming up later this month ... it just seems like a great pattern, and I can't wait! I love the Kashi version! Pants are cute too!
