Last night I sewed for two hours and got two things completed! Hooray! Which will make up for Thursday when I won't get home until 9pm.
My first item was a Flashback Skinny Tee for Loo. He loves orange so I thrifted a men's t-shirt and made it into a size 3T. From the following pictures it looks like my 3 1/2 year old is ready to go up to a 4T shirt.
He loves it though and that's worth him wearing a tight shirt with a little toddler belly hanging out. After I took pictures it was still hanging taped to the living room wall and I looked up from the computer and saw him up on a stool pulling it off the wall. Seconds later he had it stuck over his face trying to get it on and I had to make the split second decision (a) help my child (b) get the freakin' SD card back into the camera quick. I made the adult choice and helped him.
What a goof.
I didn't leave Beri out. I made her a Tee for Two dress. It went smoothly and I did all exposed seams which I'm starting to like more and more.
Don't forget to Vote for Spring Tops over at Made By Rae ( pick G!)
Aw, these are both soooooo cute! Love the toddler belly! And I love the fabric you used for Beri's dress! Did you buy that as yardage or is it an upcycle? It's interesting and different. Well done!
ReplyDeleteOhhh, love BOTH of these projects. Very cute. And congrats on making it to Top of Tops! Good luck - I voted for you!
